I sit by this banyan tree that has multiple roots growing into the ground.
Its branches have transmuted and transformed into roots. Each root holding down this big tree. Each branch not only moving upwards into unknown worlds and skies, but also into the ground, bringing in some much-needed steadiness.
This steadiness that was long missing is now welcomed, almost like a bride entering her new home.
The tree stands strong with this steadiness and finds the courage to branch out simultaneously in multiple directions, not knowing what will happen, but banking on its roots and branches nonetheless.
I sit by this tree that is dancing its own, unique calypso and seek solace in its steadiness.
